A partition made of glass and metal made it possible to create a separate working area, but there is no feeling of isolation from everything that happens in the living room.

In this case, the architect built this structure to get an isolated bedroom, while maintaining the total amount of space and air. There are many disadvantages to this solution: there can be no bathroom and dressing room with a bedroom like that, and no sound insulation. Although if the bedroom is a guest room, this is a good alternative to a sofa in the living room.

TURN ON THE COLOR!

It’s a great idea to install a colored glass partition in the bathroom. An accent glass door in a classic interior looks amazing.

BORDER LINE

This partition of glass blocks sets the necessary rhythm for the white interior. Since the area of ​​such a partition is large enough, it can become the main accent of the interior.

This is an interesting solution for zoning of the room. It changes the perception of space, preserving the architecture of the premises. In the case below, zoning was carried out delicately. The author of the project separated the living room from the dining room. The turned vertical glass partitions became an element of sophisticated decor, which probably can be found in other parts of the interior.

Large glass partition from floor to ceiling is both a space divider and a decorative element. In the picture below it immediately attracts attention with its design and pattern: corrugated glass, black metal frame with an interesting ornament. And even the contrasting red wall does not distract attention, and looks like a perfect background.

TWISTED

This partition is original, and reminds of a sculptural composition. Blue and yellow colored glass gives the interior the spirit of the 1950-1960s.

GRAPHICS

One of the most common cases is to use a glass partition to separate the kitchen and the dining room. In this project it allows you to visually hide the working area of the kitchen, and bring your attention to the elegant graphics of the partition. A clean, minimalistic solution: black metal, milky walls and warm wood.

THE VIEWS

The authors of the project found a good solution in order, on the one hand, to separate the kitchen into a separate room, and on the other, to leave natural light in the dining room. The sun passes freely through the glass, dividing the space into two zones. Now, sitting at the table, you can admire the blooming garden without leaving your home. It is great that not all details of the kitchen are visible – the lower part of the partitions is made of metal. If, for example, tables are cluttered with dishes or work surfaces are not tidy, this will not ruin the whole look.

In addition to transparent partitions for zoning the space, you can use colored glass, tinted or decorated with ornaments. It can be a landscape, a geometric ornament, or a marble pattern. Here, the architect divided the office space with the help of glass partitions.

Now it is very popular to use glass partitions in a classic interior. Here, this solution is appropriate, since the decor itself is not damaged, but simply supplemented. And the functional problem is solved – zoning the space. Be careful: if you install partitions, use only dark gray or black metal. You can supplement them with glass with a pattern, as they did in the 1960s.

SEE THE LIGHT

Zoning with translucent or transparent partitions is a great opportunity to divide the room without breaking it into small rooms, preserving the natural light. This interior, bright and full of air, is a beautiful example. The classic room with stucco molding and parquet was rethought with the help of modern furniture. The combination of glass, the rounded shapes of the lamps, the backs of chairs and the right angles of the partition frame looks great.
