Glamorous, modern, cosmic, futuristic – there are not enough words to describe the new penthouse of David and Victoria Beckham in Miami. It is located in the new One Thousand Museum residential complex, which is known for being the first residential project by Zaha Hadid Architects in the USA and the last project of Zaha Hadid, which she worked on before her sudden death in 2016.
The 62-story tower typical of Zaha Hadid’s design forms has been under construction since 2014 and has recently been officially completed. The building is equipped with a private helipad, a luxurious fitness center with sauna and beauty lounge, a swimming pool and spa, and panoramic windows offer stunning views of Miami and the ocean. The residence is more reminiscent of a fashionable hotel than an apartment building and of course, the starry Beckham couple who had been looking for an apartment in Miami for so long could not get past it.
According to sources, the deal was concluded on behalf of Beckham Brand Limited, owned by David Beckham. And although the exact amount of the sale has not yet been specified, it is known that the starting price of the penthouse was $ 20 million.
The apartment is located on one of the upper floors, occupying an entire floor, it has five bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a total area of almost 975 square meters. The deal was started a few months ago, but was officially closed only in early April.
As a co-owner of the Inter Miami Football Club, David Beckham and his wife spend more and more time in this city, so the acquisition of new real estate here was only a matter of time. “One Thousand Museum is a unique building, and we are happy to join its tenants,” a representative of Beckham commented on the purchase. The celebrity family lives in London, but they also have homes in Los Angeles and in the Cotswolds, England. They also had an apartment in Beverly Hills, which they sold in 2018 for $ 33 million.
