Designed by Quincoces-Dragò & Partners, this luxurious and functional apartment proves that minimalism can be warm and elegant too.
This Milan apartment, designed by the designers at Quincoces-Dragò & Partners, is an example of elegant simplicity. Each element of the interior emphasizes the dignity of the apartment. In order to maximize the space, the designers combined the living room, kitchen and dining room in the same space. The white color, which completely envelops the space, helps to infuse it with light and integrate the rough wood beams that adorn the ceiling.
A minimalist kitchen without upper modules resembles a large sideboard, stretching from one end of the wall to the other. Next to the Tulip table, surrounded by wooden chairs with leather upholstery, there is an additional cupboard for storing dishes and other kitchenware. In the living room, black and white colors are diluted with bright abstract art on the walls and live greenery. Chairs by Gio Ponti and Charlotte Perriand combine with more minimalist pieces such as the Atollo lamp, creating a complex balance between austerity and expressiveness.
The entire interior of this minimalist apartment is thought out to the smallest detail. The shade of the wooden kitchen facades echoes the color of the cabinets and dining chairs. Embossed glass doors let in the sun rays, but at the same time help to maintain privacy, merging with the snow-white walls.
